How do I get started?

Sign up for a free trial by creating an account, set up a budget, and start tracking your expenses. Once you get comfortable with it, add a monthly savings goal and start saving. I suggest watching the demo video to learn more about all the features.

Is SproutBudget free?

You get a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial, you can subscribe to continue using all features. You can cancel your subscription anytime from inside the app by clicking your profile icon and choosing "Manage Billing."

Is there an app I can download?

Sprout can be used in the browser and/or as a Progressive Web App. Here is how to install the app on your phone or tablet.

Can I connect my bank account?

We don't sync bank accounts. However, you can export your transactions from your e-banking in a .CSV file and import them into Sprout if you like.

Can I create separate budgets for different categories (like food, rent, or travel)?

Yes! Categories and spending limits are fully customizable. You can even create sub-categories to make things even clearer if needed.

Can I export my financial data?

Yes. Go to Settings > Data Management, and you can choose to export your data in CSV or JSON format.

You can change your password from inside the app by clicking your profile picture and choosing "Account Settings."
